My WordPress theme wpnewsmagazine have the option to add a landing page link to the front page. This is especially useful when you promote a product or service. The landing page is where the “call to action” is usually placed.
The call to action is a response you want all form your visitors. It can also be an invitation to a forum or newsletter subscription. If you identify the call to action in a good way it will help improve your conversion rate. The landing page is typical without sidebars to give the call to action maximum attention.
The landing page can be a page separately coded in (X)HTML or a page created inside the WordPress text editor inside the dashboard.
To create a landing page in my wpnewsmagazinetheme you can follow these steps:
1. open the pages tab in wordpress dashboard, and click Add New.
2. Give the page a title, and choose landing page from the Template dropdown menu.
